The purpose of Address Search
Hello Beta-Bats, I must be doing something wrong, but what is the purpose of this thing? Searching for messages in which a selected address is involved results in a popup-bo searching and telling how many there are (sometimes it's hidden behind TB!). And that's it. I don't see any one of the discovered messages. So I suppose there is something I forgot to do? -- Best Wishes, Mark using The Bat! 4.0.0.7 (ALPHA) Windows 2000 Professional/5.0 build 2195 Service Pack 4 (0 days 4:48:14) on Uno AMD Duron MyMacros 1.11a zOmbie's Macros Version 0.7 attachment: searchaddress50.jpg Current beta is 3.99.29 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

It SHOULD show all emails from that person (if there are any) on the upper right pane just like the contents of folders do. I LOOKS RG like you may have selected someone who has no email in your database RG (?) I suppose I have misled you by making a snapshot at the beginning of the search. Actually there were 42 messages in which MAU was involved. None showed up. I doesn't matter who I choose, or how many messages from the person there are: in no case there are any messages visible in the upper right pane. :-( -- Best Wishes, Mark using The Bat! RG CLicked on another then back to the first one and the messages were RG visible. Thought I had figured out what was going wrong. All the addresses I tested this out on were from people that, even though there's enough mail from/to them, are not in my address book. With those who are the messages appear. To test this out I have put MAU in the address book (changing the name MAU, leaving his address): even after a restart the messages don't show up. Perhaps it only works for those that were in the initial query??? -- Best Wishes, Mark using The Bat!
