I wish I knew the answer. I find this quite annoying, too! I really hope

In addition to this, and possibly related is the problem I have here
with the favourites picker icon next to the new message button. It shows
no response any more since 1.60... To illustrate what I mean I've
attached a little .png.

Click 'To" or "AB" in new msg window
find address
Click add to >
sometimes adds address, sometimes doesn't
reverting to 5

 It  may  well  be.  The address picker as it stands is just a useless
 piece  of  junk on my PC.  Comes up as just a 10mm strip which can be
 dragged  open,  but the size never sticks between sessions.  Altering
 the registry does not help either.

It _is_ in the choice of fonts - but not the choice made by the user.

If the buttons were using the "Marlett" system font (hidden on many
systems), they would be displaying arrows. If, because of some glitch,
TB! starts using Fixedsys or MS Sans Serif, the numbers appear.

diagnosis is that Paul is 0-challenged, like me. I have the deficiency
of doubling them up--must be my Southern drawl--and Paul, with his
rapid brain moving on, simply omits them.

manually typed  beta "3.00.00.14" in my message re my HTML error
window, mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

BTW, I've had only the one to pop up in 3.0.0.14, so far. Put this
number in via copy-and-paste. The Bat! itself is more reliable about
its numbering than I seem to be.

The  bug  it's  on you LNG file you are using. Ritlabs has changed the
string  we need to translate, so the old bad strings the people has in
his LNG file are not used now.

Now the buttons should be ok for everyone.

When you click on the right most icon on the To, CC or BCC field of
Editor you get the Mail-picker with the corresponding tab selected.
Well, I am getting only the To tab no matter if I am in the To, CC or
BCC fields. The CC and BCC fields are not even displayed.

Any confirmations?

Cannot confirm. That is, if I'm reading your description correctly.

In MicroEd I get the address-picker in To, CC, and BCC. I picked an
address for the CC and BCC and it promplty appeared in the headers of
this message I'm composing. (Subsequently erased it--didn't want to
confuse my sister. ;) )

But when I ignored the Tab and was accessing the Mail address picker
from the BCC and CC fields in my headers, the address I picked
appeared in the respective header fields.

was really quite clear. I'm just not used to the vocabulary of
