Where is my Color Group tab?
Hello all, Three weeks ago I opened this BT report: No folder tab is created for empty Colour Groups https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=6736 Marek seems to think that it is more a wish than an actual bug and I have just added this note: ,- [ BT Note 0021085 ] | No Marek, it is a bug or, at least, a poor or not thoroughly thought | about design. | | 1.- If it is an existing C.G. I may want to create the tab to see if I | have any messages assigned to that group and where. But if the tab is | not created, what do I have to assume? A bug in TB or that there are no | messages assigned to that group? But, what may add more confusion is | that if I go back to 'Configure Folder Sets' the C.G. tick box is | ticked. So, what the heck is happening? | | 2.- I may be setting up my system and create one or more C.Gs and at the | same time and want to set up folder tabs for them. Why can't I see them? | | And, in both cases, if I now select several messages and assign them to | one of these previously 'empty' C.Gs., will the tab appear now? No. | | So, it is a bug or poor design. Whatever you like best :) `- Just in case you'd like to support. -- Best regards, Miguel A. color group tab
Battyfolk, Could someone tell me when a message is 'normal', i.e. what does this mean. It's not un-read because there is a tab for that. Maybe it would make more sense to have these tabs be un-read read. So, for example, user could see un-read colored msg once, read it could change to strike out font or whatever. I don't get it the way it is now or maybe I'm just missing the whole point. Anybody? Hello Jan, On Mon, 16 Aug 2004 you wrote in mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] JR Could someone tell me when a message is 'normal', i.e. what does JR this mean. It's not un-read because there is a tab for that. Maybe JR it would make more sense to have these tabs be un-read read. Well I take it to mean that it refers to the 'read' setting of a message with whatever colours and fonts are set for that particular Colour Group (or just use the generic one). -- Regards, Richard | Using The Bat! 2.13 Lucky Beta/6 SpamPal | Windows XP (build 2600), version 5.1 Service Pack 1 | and the best browser: Opera 7.53 build 3850 PGP public key: http://pgpkeys.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=getsearch=0xCA93B5BE Current beta is 2.13 'Lucky' Beta/6 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

Agreed, but it would make sense for it to be Read or Unread. -- Stuartmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v2.13 Lucky Beta/5 on Windows 98 4.10 Build A Current beta is 2.13 'Lucky' Beta/6 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
