Re[2]: Invalid domain name

1999-10-09 Thread Anne Kaeser

Joris,

 Hello Anne,

That's my mother ;-) This is usually her account.

Are you sure you have the right to acces that server from the dail-up
 account you're using?

 Yes, as
  a) This error only occured recently, before everything worked
 correctly.
  b) This account isn't part of my providers service. It was included
with a domain I registered. So I should be able to access it from
 any dialup connection.

If you have, the dns-server could be down (try pinging it)

I already did that, and it was there. Also, as I said, the POP part
 is still working.

Hello Anne,

   Well, do you use Go!Zilla?

Try that: If there is a file called the_bat.exe on your hard disk,
then delete it, download the file here

   http://www.ritlabs.com/the_bat/download.html

   and install it.

 New address list macros: %TOLIST, %CCLIST, %BCCLIST, %OTOLIST, %OCCLIST, %OBCCLIST.

 Where are they?

If they are not on the popup menu, just type them in and see if they
work.

Filters

1999-10-09 Thread Michal Kosinski

   Bialystok/PL, 1999-10-10

Hello TBU,

I want to filter messages from my "secondary" e-maila account exacly
as I'm doing it on my "primiary" e-mail account, without creating
same folders and filter rules two times in TB!.

Is there a way to set up filters on one account that they will be
coping or moving messages to second account, and then filter rules
from that second account will work and filter messages once again?

Moving messages to Inbox folder placed in second accout folder-tree
  is a solution?

For fear of repeating other suggestions...
Make sure your Rrom/Reply to mail addresses are set the same as
the domain you are using. Some servers test this.
I have also often been caught out in the past by using the wrong
smtp server for the account. Check that your outgoing messages are
using the correct 'active' account.
