Control keys and a question
Yesterday someone explained how to make keyboard shortcuts. I duely made one to mark all messages in a folder as read. When you right click on an item the context menu appears with a keyboard shortcut - in this case Ctrl+M - however, this and other shortcuts don't work, you have to go to the line with the mouse. Is this a bug? Will it be fixed in a new release? I have a question about setting up a mailing list, I need to inform members of the hockeyclub when the weekly newsletter is available, maybe even attach it to the mail. I seem to remember reading something about mailing lists when I first bought TB! a few months ago. Would someone please point me in the right direction? Off-list maybe TIA -- kind regards, Jenny version 3.6.25 professional edition Current version is 3.60.7 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Replying to HTML Mail
I noticed that when I reply to some received mail, it displays in the editor awkwardly as one huge unedittable block. I can't select the parts of the mail I want to retain in my reply. The block is either present or not. My signature appended to the end appears in some strange, almost colorless font. It seems to be determined by the content of the mail to which I am replying. Mail from certain select people always cause the reply to look wonky in the editor. Replying to other mail looks perfectly normal. Has anyone seen this before and is there something about the senders email that causes this? -- Best regards, Lawrence Johnson mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Current version is 3.60.7 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

I thought you had o enter the shortcut in the big box with the short cuts in them. How could I have ever thought that. That's right. G> The problem is that although there is what looks like a "change short cut G> area" I can not get it to work. You can assign shortcuts via: View -> Toolbars -> Customise: Select a container: Main Form -> Main menu (menu bar) Now select an action in the middle pane of the pop-up screen: Folder -> Mark all message as read Now set the focus on the input box for the shortcuts, that's the little bar at the right hand bottom that says 'None' or maybe 'Geen' in your case. Now press a shortcut. You'll see the key combo is mentioned in the input box and that the 'Assign' button lights up. Press the assign button, and the key combo will move up to the assigned shortcuts for the selected action. You can only assign shortcuts to actions in a container and said action shortcut is only available when the container is relevant. So shortcuts assigned to the pop-up window of the message list won't work when you're editing a message or when you've got focus on the account tree pane. -- Groetjes, Roelof Nobody notices when things go right, and I'm noticed. Find the Short Cut Editor
Hi Bat Users, I just upgraded both my computer (nice 3.4P4 Extreme with Raid Sata drives) and installed a new version of TB! Not much problems, with the backup restore function. The only thing I found is that the one shortcut that I had defined (Mark all msg in folder read) was no longer there. I found the short cut editor missing from it former location (View|Short Cut Editor) and it now seems to be located at View|Toolbars|Customise. The problem is that although there is what looks like a "change short cut area" I can not get it to work. It might be that I have been to busy making all the changes to my new system for me to think straight so that is why I call on you, the collective TB! help force. Please help me get my short cut back! -- Best regards, Gerard -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To err is human, to moo is bovine = Using The Bat! v3.60.07 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 Current version is 3.60.7 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
