Wish: Two-rows for messages in Message List Pane like in MS Outlook useful in Horizontal split
Hello, I have added this wish as https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=5722, if You are interested, please support. In Horizontal split will be very useful to see messages in two rows, where From and date will be on first row, Subject on second. MS Outlook allows this and user coming from this app asking me about it. -- Thanks and Bye, Marek Mikus Czech support of The Bat! http://www.thebat.cz Using the best The Bat! 3.71.03 under Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 1 Notebook Acer, Pentium4-M 2.2 GHz, 512 MB RAM, ADSL line Current version is 3.71.03 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Wish: Serching in mesgbases (messages.tbb) outside The Bat! and in backup files (TBK)
Hello, I have added this wish as https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=5719, if You are interested, please support. Msgbases grows and if has user thousands of messages in hundreds folders, TB becomes slow and eats much memory when loading msgbases. These messages are mainly archives of mailinglists and are used for searching only, so it is not needed to have them accessible via TB's interface, they can be stored on HDD or CD and TB will search them without loading them on start. BTW if they are stored on CD, user must create folders in TB and assign them to folders on CD to using them for searching. And of course, it will be great to allow searching messages in TBK files created by The Bat!. -- Thanks and Bye, Marek Mikus Czech support of The Bat! http://www.thebat.cz Using the best The Bat! 3.71.03 under Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 1 Notebook Acer, Pentium4-M 2.2 GHz, 512 MB RAM, ADSL line Current version is 3.71.03 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Wish: Allow user to add user-defined headers as columns in Messages list pane
Hello, I have added this wish as https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=5720, if You are interested, please support. It is possible to create own headers in Preferences dialog, Message headers section. This is very useful, but these headers can be visible in Message header pane only, not in Messages list pane in appropriate column. Please add option into Edit header field dialog, which will add such header into View mode setup dialog, where will be user allowed to define it for this view mode. -- Thanks and Bye, Marek Mikus Czech support of The Bat! http://www.thebat.cz Using the best The Bat! 3.71.03 under Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 1 Notebook Acer, Pentium4-M 2.2 GHz, 512 MB RAM, ADSL line Current version is 3.71.03 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Hi all, While I can see the need for the CC to come to the front when a message is sent, I really wish the mechanism that brings it into focus will put it back where it was after the message is sent. I have my emails set to hard wrap at 76 characters, so I have line breaks that force that. However, your emails don't have hard wraps, they wrap at the edge of the screen. I presume this is because you use the windows editor, which doesn't automatically insert line breaks when it wraps a line. However, not wrapping at all could mean that the line just goes on off the edge of the page and you get a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the screen.
