If you've got a time that TB is running while you aren't behind the
computer (dinner time or whatever) you can create a schedule that runs
the folder maintenance at that time.

Thanks, Richard. I found something within Adobe late last night that is
similar. Setting the e-mail preferences is key. Then, once I have a
group of pictures that I want to send, I go to File--- E-mail

A pop up then allows me to send the pictures at the size and quality I
designate to a file in the Adobe/e-mail attachments subdirectory.

Thanks, again.

yes i know, but in practice, somehow i seem to be behind the pc at
that time too and i hit cancel as well :)

Anyway, I tried as suggested and it all went smooth. However, the
problem still exists. I know have it in different accounts even. It
doesn't happen a lot, but today for example, I had three corrupted
mails. It doesn't look very professional if I have to ask my clients
if they can please resend the mail as my mailprogram seems to corrupt
them when they enter...

If i hit 'reply' on a corrupted mail, it takes the text out of the
*last seen* mail as original text. Maybe this info helps?

Thanks anyway, it's good to write this down. Seems to become more
controlable :)

What do you see when you hit F9 with a corrupted message?
What are you running as anti-virus and firewall?

Can you set your accounts to leave the mail on server for a day or two
and whenever you run into a corrupt message, access the original via
webmail or something alike?
You mentioned that it's happening in different accounts, are they
running from the same server or on different servers?

IMAP Filter Weirdness

2007-10-02 Thread Christopher W .

I am in the process of moving one of my accounts from POP to IMAP.
Everything seems to be going fine (so far). I've started to move my
filters over.

I ran into a weird problem though. I am on a high traffic
announcements mailing list. I have a filter that moves these messages
into their own folder. There is also an archive folder. I have
configured the main folder to move the messages to the archive folder
when I delete them. That appears to work. However, the filter is
reapplied, and the messages end up back in the main folder.

What am I doing wrong?
