Filter action depending on the filetype of an attachment
Hello, is it possible to create a filter, that for example reacts only, if I receive a Mail with an attached Word-Document? I would like to send a auto-reply to those Mails, where I inform the sender, that I don't like Word-Docs. Re: Language switch
Hallo Thomas, Iam looking to for a one-key or one-click way to switch between English and German. Any suggestions? (Command line parameters acceptable, as long as it will affect a running TB.) Maybe the %LANGUAGE="xx" macro is what you want. You can give any E-Mail address or any Folder its own language by including the macro into the templates. -- __ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org
Re[3]: Like Notepad with word-wrap...
Hallo Lija, if you want non-wrapped Text then write it in Notepad (or something leike that) and save it as .txt, so that you can attach it to your Mails. You can't be sure that a Mail goes to the recipient as you want. The Recipient can have filters or his Mail-program ignores some special characters. With a attached file you won't get these Problems. If you don't want it, Quark is able to replace all 'returns'. Out of Memory
Hallo, today I had the problem, that the Inbox of one account could not be purged or compressed because of an "out if memory"-error. I moved all messages to a new folder, but I always got the error-message. So I made the "Inbox" a subfolder by moving it with CRTL+ALT+MOUSE into any folder. In this case I was able to delete the Inbox. I created a new folder named Inbox and moved all messages back into this folder. I don't know what had happened, but I know how to solve ... ;-) Nebi! -- -- View the TBUDL archive at http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe from TBUDL, double click here and send the message: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org

Re[2]: Missing features
Hallo Marck, N something I really miss in The Bat is, that CTRL+DEL does not N delete from Cursor to the end of the line No, but the Ctrl-Q, Y sequence does the job. Well it would be nice, that The Bat act like the most other applications or Windows itself. Also CTRL+DEL is easy-to-type-Shortcut. N or like QuarkXpress delete the word after. That's because TB is not QuarkXpress and, instead, uses Ctrl-T to delete the word after. ;-) Thanks, this Shortcut helps me alot, I thought if CTRL-DEL does not work, there will be no other Shortcut for this work. N Another thing I miss, is to specify different Spellcheck languages N to a Contact. You can use a specific Address Book template and template macros to set the language for this functionality. Duh, shame on me, I should have a closer look to the Documentation. Re: Cannot send Mails in Windows 2000!
My problem was not Win2k, but for accident I activated "Sign when completed", but I have no Signature, so TheBat don't want to send. Now it works. Cannot send Mails in Windows 2000!
Hallo, I have a Problem with The Bat 1.46 and Windows 2000. When I write or answer a Mail it is not possible to send the Mail via the Icon or the Menu-Command. I have to save the massage and uncheck the icon with the sandclock, then the bat will send. Beta 1.47 also has this problem on my system. Re: the bat and win2000 with 2 users
FM First, I had to install the bat twice (one for each user). FM For my account, no problem. FM But it seem impossible to load the bat with the power user mode (no FM error pop O, I click and nothing happen). FM When I change to admin level security, it works ! FM Any hints ? On my W2K system I also use The Bat for 2 different user accounts. I hadn't to install The Bat twice and the only problem the 2nd non Admin-User had, was that he couldn't see the Spell-Checking. After changing to Admin-Privelegs it works too. It seems that most applications under the Windows-Systems don't like other privilegs than Admin, have a look to those so called professional Software from Adobe ;-) -- -- View the TBUDL archive at http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe from TBUDL, double click here and send the message: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org

No wordwrap in Message-Viewer?
Today I got a message wich is only in one very long line, simply not formatted. It's really hard to read this, by scrolling and scrolling to right. Copy Filters from one Account to another / Global filters
Hallo, Since I've more than one E-mail address, some friends sends me mails to the address which they have in mind, so I receive sometimes a Mail in Account 1, sometimes in Account 2 and so on. Now I started to create a Filter-set in one Account. Is it possible to copy some of the filters to the other Accounts? I don't want to copy all Filters from Account 1 to Account 2 and so on, only some Filters. Is there a way to manage it? Or is it possible to create global Filters? Hope, someone can help me. -- greetz, Nebula -- -- View the TBUDL archive at http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe from TBUDL, double click here and send the message: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org
deinstalling The Bat! v1.44
I have installed THE BAT! v1.44 on a german Windows 2000 PC. I have also installed the language-pack for german and english. The Problem is, that I can't find the De-Install function at the Software panel. A friend of mine has got the same problem, also using Win 2000. I can't remember, if it worked under NT. The Help claims, it will work on W2k. What's wrong?
