What does Address Auto View do?
What does Address Auto View do? If I click it, a new little window pops up, and I see some addresses re current post I have selected, but as soon as I click behind it, it disappears again, never to be seen again, unless I again invoke it via the menu; by toggling if off then on again. So apparently it is 'on', but where it is? -- Best regards, rellieb-jean -- -- View the TBUDL archive at http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe from TBUDL, double click here and send the message: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] --

For people (*cough, cough*) who use virtual desktops there is a lot of time when the application isn't on the screen but it isn't minimized, either. I'd also love to see the ticker have the ability to be docked *and* be a separate process in the process table so I could dock it to the bottom of my screen above the task bar and then tell my virtual desktop manager to place that object on all my desktops. -- Steve C. Address Auto-View
Just wondering Has anyone found a use for that big 'ol address window that appears when you have Address Auto View checked? I figure I must be missing some obvious use for it as I can easily get the address off the mail header. -- - Nick Using The Bat! 1.38 Beta/3 under Windows 98 4.10 Build 1998 -- -- View the TBUDL archive at http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe from TBUDL, double click here and send the message: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] --

Mostly that it will retrieve matching address book entries complete with details and photo when an entry exists there that matches the address on the current message. Trouble is, it only works for the TB! main window and not for any message you may be looking at in a folder view. Cheers, Marck -- Marck D.
