Attachments when sending
Greetings: I just sent an e-mail with two attachments to a group of friends. I use a separate directory for storing incoming attachments, and I just saw that it contained 18 copies of one attachment (the number of recipients) and 38 of the other. (The files themselves remain in the original directory.) How do I prevent it from placing duplicates of the attachments in the attachment directory? Advantage: you're always sure you have the right version of the attachment that you actually sent or received (instead of a link/reference to the file you stored elsewhere on your hard drive, which you may have edited subsequently). Disadvantage: your mailboxes are bigger, since you're storing the attachment along with the rest.
