Re: Flushing the To: address list
Hello Ian, Reviving this with the latest beta, and I cannot get the Del key to do the trick. Has something changed? Not that I know of. I've tested this with v4.1.11.2 and v4.1.11.3 (that I have just installed) and it works here with both. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Re: Flushing the To: address list
Hello Ian, Is there any way that this history can be flushed or edited? - Open editor. - Click on the View History icon on the right of the To field (the one with the down-pointing double arrow) and the history list will open beneath the To field. - Using the Arrow keys on your keyboard, NOT the mouse, hit the down arrow one to 'enter' the history list. - Using the down and/or up arrow keys, scroll to the entry you want to delete. - Then use the Delete key to delete it. Works here :) -- Best regards, Miguel A. Another (permanent) solution is: = Options|Preferences…|Viewer/Editor|Message Headers - Select the To:-Header - Click [Edit] - Choose tab Editing - Disable Use seperate history list for each field - Enable both While-you-type actions - Choose in listboxes Default Addressbook only or All Addressbooks This will disable the automatic completion for addressees, which are *not* in your addressbook(s).
