Folder 1
Folder 2

I left click on folder 2 while holding down the CTRL and ALT keys, drag

z Possible problem: I have defined the 'home' folders for all the

Not that I know of.

None of my account mail folders are in their default locations. In fact
my mail folders are on a separate partition from the TB! install
directory.

ACM Also to create a new folder as a subfolder of another, right click
ACM the proposed parent folder and select new folder. The created

No.

z As an alternative, could one place several folders as subs of one
z folder that is also a separate folder in Win? Example: set up an
z account as 'misc' in TB, and have the home folder be 'misc', somewhere
z in the Win directory tree. Then move several accounts under this
z 'misc' Win dir/'misc' account.

You can make the other accounts mail folders subdirectories of another
mail accounts folder. Why would you wish to do this?

Note: account folder - folder seen in TB! interface

mail folder - folder containing an entire accounts mail and
  various config files.

ztrader How can I set up account folders within folders?

A Curtis Martin Use CTRL+ALT dragging.

It seems like CTRL + ALT + Drag moves folders up and down the
hierarchy, except when you want to move a folder from a sublevel to
the root position. Then it's back to ALT + Drag, whatever level you
started from.

That is because the top level "folder" isn't, strictly speaking, a

only alongside other root folders within it. That is why you have to
use Alt-Drag in that circumstance.

Seems logical then - and at the same time not. It still feels like
it's more intuitive to use Ctrl+Alt+drag for moving folders to
different folder levels, including the root level, even if it, strictly
speaking :), isn't a folder.

I'm not so sure I even understand why there have to be two different
commands for dragging folders. Why not just use Alt+drag for both
operations?

MPD it was just a good opportunity to make a
MDP definitive statement for the sake of the "lurkers" ... you know
MDP who you are! ;-)

I certainly do :)

With a bit of folder creation and drag-and-drops, I was able to

Folders within folders?

2000-08-25 Thread ztrader

How can I set up account folders within folders? I will have a large
number that I filter to, and would like to group them in categories.
Can one have just "headings" (that are not accounts in the folder list)
to place the folders under?

Thanks,
