Multiple AB's

2001-07-07 Thread Jack LaRosa

Hello Bats!,

The README for v1.53d mentions the ability to have multiple address
books. To wit: [+] Each account can have its personal default address book.

I can't find anything in the help file regarding this nor can I find
anything in the archives except some vague references to the
  multiple user features of Windoze.

I have only two accounts and successfully set up many versions ago, an
AB for each account. The only problem I had (still have) is that
favorites checked in *each* AB appear whenever the arrow next to
CREATE A NEW MESSAGE is pressed regardless of which account I
  happen to be in.

Am I wrong in assuming that with this new version I should not
  expect this to happen?

Re: Multiple AB's

2001-07-07 Thread Januk Aggarwal

Hello Jack,

Historians believe that Sat, 7 Jul 2001 at 12:05 GMT -0500 was when,
Jack LaRosa [JL] typed the following:

JL I have only two accounts and successfully set up many versions
JL ago, an AB for each account. The only problem I had (still have)
JL is that favorites checked in *each* AB appear whenever the arrow
JL next to CREATE A NEW MESSAGE is pressed regardless of which
JL account I happen to be in.

You can set the default address book for a given account under:
 Account - Properties - General

JL Am I wrong in assuming that with this new version I should not
JL expect this to happen?

I'm not sure. I haven't really seen much discussion either way.
Please let us know if setting the default does affect the favourites
shown.

Hello Januk,

On Sat, 7 Jul 2001 12:10:43 -0700 GMT your local time, which was
Saturday, July 07, 2001, 2:10:43 PM (GMT-6) my local time,

Alas, even after setting the default AB for each account (I had never
done it) *all* favorites from *each* AB appear when the arrow is clicked.
I even closed and reopened TB! to no avail.

But thanks for trying Januk.
