Although for me that selection was already ticked, I too had been having problems with photo folders opening showing DETAILS instead of thumbnails regardless of which state they were in when I last closed them. I un-ticked the option and then re-ticked it which caused the APPLY button to become active. I clicked on APPLY and closed CONTROL PANEL. I then went to a pictures folder and opened it (it opened in DETAILS view) and changed the view to THUMBNAILS and closed the folder. When I re-opened the folder, it was still set to THUMBNAILS. I changed the VIEW to DETAILS, closed the folder and then re-opened it to find that it was still set to DETAILS. The basic macro is very similar to the one that Maurice showed in mid:1974229872.20090304125...@hypercube.demon.nl The macro I use to extract the information from the memo field is [ Macro: Get_Memo_Attribute ] %Rem=' Usage: attribute value=%QInclude(Get_Memo_Attribute,Tag,Default_Value) This will return the value from a line in the address book memo field that looks like this: tagvalue/tag Or the Default_Value if no such line exists '%- %If:'%SetPattRegExp=(?im)^%_1%RegExpMatch=%ABToMemo'='':'%_2'%- :'%If:+%SetPattRegExp=(?im)^(%_1/)%RegExpMatch=%ABToMemo+++:++%- :+%SetPattRegExp=(?im)^(?:%_1)(.*?)(?:/%_1)%RegExpMatch=%ABToMemo+'%- [ End Macro ] I use this in a set of more complex macros that specify what information to retrieve (by identifying the tag) and, if necessary, identifying a default value so that I can deal with the case of no value being set. The main complexity is that I have created macros that cater for a list of multiple recipients. The macros will parse the list of recipients and extract the attribute from each recipient's memo field and then take action depending upon how many recipients have a value in the attribute, how many different values there are, etc. For instance, if one of the multiple recipients has a read or delivery receipt set, it is applied to the message using this macro which recursively processes each address in the recipient list. Hello Tbudl, This may be OT, but it is to do with this (and other) list/s. I am using gMail via POP3 SMPT and I am not see my own e-mail being returned to this list. I think that it is a property of gMail as I can see it in sent items in the web interface. I know that gMail will not show your email in the inbox if you sent it to a list. I was hoping that would not apply to POP3 and SMTP. I have looked at the filter in gMail but can not see one to override this behaviour. I could set up filters for my out box but I don't really want to have to do that. My other option is to use a different SMTP server to sent it out. OT: account properties and connection center
Dear all, I have a little suggestion to the function of the bat! I'm sorry if I post to the wrong list since I do not know where I should do it, so I just put Off Topic (OT) in the subject. But if you found that this function is useful for you, please forward my request to the right list. 1. It's much easier if you can add a dropdown menu or something else in account properties for changing different account quickly/directly without having to close the account properties first. 2. Is it possible to have an option to keep download process still visible in connection center after it's finished downloading ? So we can check easily/directly whether an account successfully downloaded or not. Both question is helpful when you have more than 3 e-mail accounts. That's all, Thank you. -- Regards, MS Darmawan ___ Using The Bat! v3.80.06 Send instant messages to your online friends http://asia.messenger.yahoo.com Current version is 3.85.02 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Recently, Mary Bull squawked: The play has had its run, but Marck's Rogue pic is still Scrooge. :) infamy remains .. What lovely dogs at the gate with the sheep! Both rescues. Badger is quite serious about his work and HIS sheep. Lilly is deadly, but way too friendly to people. Some of the others wouldn't let you get close to their sheep or horses. And what fine little lambs! Quads, Robert D.? If you breed and select and keep for certain traits and if you feed and maintain well and if they are relaxed throughout gestation of 152 days, (usually by being guarded by the LGD's) then you get three and four lambs per .. however, note well, the good lord only gave them two teats sigh now you know -- Regards, Robert D. :flag-us-ky: _ The Bat! This is an antispam measure (goes into the same direction as SPF). Maybe YG doesn't add the propper return-path header or something, I don't know.
