This posting violated the list rules regarding top posting. Top posting, i.e., typing all your reply text at the top of your message and following it with all quoted text below, is not encouraged and we actually request that you not do so on this list because a) It makes it difficult to glean context from what you typed at the top of the message and b) It encourages excessive quoting. We would much prefer if you quote just that much of the message to which you're replying, so we know what it is you're referring to, and then below the quotation, type your response. If you're responding to more than one parts of the original, then quote each part separately and follow each part with your response. Now, I know that you may not personally prefer this format and that you may disagree with some of the reasoning here. We very much respect this. However, this is the format that most of the active members here prefer and all members are expected, and are being asked to use the format that will make most of the active membership here comfortable reading. You'll likely get a more responsive group when you post using a style that is comfortable for them to read and understand. Thank you. -- Leif (TB list moderator and fellow end user). You have to delete the bcc field immediately before hitting "send". It's annoying. KK> Thanks for the tip. It does work, but clicking in the body isn't KK> enough. I have to actually type a character in the body, then go back up to the header and delete the field there. So, click in the body first and then go back and then delete the BCC. If that doesn't work, I'll check when I get home. -- Cheers Thomas. -- COMPUTERBILD 15/03: Premium-e-mail-Dienste im Test -- 1. Over-ride BCC from template
I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature. In 1.x I always BCC'ed myself in my template, using %bcc="[EMAIL PROTECTED]". When actually writing a message I could click in the BCC header and delete it, if I chose to not copy myself. Now, with V2, I can delete the entry in the BCC field, but when I move down into the message body, the BCC field is repopulated as per my template, and I can't get rid of it. I realize that I could work around it by setting up an alternative template, but perhaps I'm missing something? -- Best regards, Keith Current version is 2.00 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
