I understand the point you were making that having just been told off about over-quoting, Peter once again quoted back Wolfgang's entire message to just say "Yes, you're right. Sorry". We have to be more patient with Peter, who has come from the Outlook world. This is an email client which induces folks to over-quote by hiding the quoted text at the end, out of sight. This, in turn, results in the bad habit of never trimming. Now, back to you :-. moderator Please do not swear on this list. Please do not address people directly on-list in derogatory terms. Please do not throw insults on-list. You could have written to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and vented your spleen there without reprimand. Or even to me personally. As it stands, you didn't. That means I have to give you warning that, like you as we do :-), these are eviction offences and, should it happen again, you will be banned. I would ask the person who wrote these comments the very questions he has asked another. And I would ask the moderators to "take some action against cretins like this guy was!" This reminds me of "road rage". For those of you who are unfamiliar with this term, it is when a person gets extraordinarily angry while driving a car cuts someone off or tailgates or screams out profanities or indicates foul signals to the other driver who has committed a perceived infraction. This has given rise to workshops where people learn how to cope with their anger. Maybe this fellow could use such a program before he gets into real life trouble. As for me, I can't accept this behavior or the casual apology to the list I think he should be banned, not warned. My response follows: MY more importantly[1], MY trim the quotes by selecting a block and hitting F4 Thank you for this little tip. I did not realize I could do this. This is one of the reason I like this list so much, it allows me to learn some of the good "hidden" tricks from the pros! On a side note, I saw where Poco Mail won the 7th annual shareware program of the year award. I decided to check it out and see what all of the hype was about. After playing with it for a few hours, I found that is was FAR inferior to TheBat! The program is nice, but TB! has, for me, the better list of features.
