Correction to my previous email below: I found what I thought was the preview pane but apparently is called the Message space and was able to restore it by clicking in the Workspace menu and turning on Message auto-view. so that problem is solved. However, I still cannot figure out how to restore the toolbar or main menu which contains File, Edit, etc. Thanks.
