Hello Roger,

My scheduler has always had a bug in it whereby it actuates one hour earlier
than the time I program it to do something. If you have the same problem
and want it to remind you in five minutes time, try setting it for one hour
 and five minutes.

Oh my God!!! That _is_ my problem!!! Obviously, for my tests I was always
setting the time just 2 or 3 minutes from now.

I'll be very interested to hear if this solves your problem. I have reported
this behaviour as a possible bug but have never been able to get
confirmation from anyone else, possibly because in some cases it may not be
 obviously noticeable

Yes, it does solve the problem in my case. Actually, I am replying to
your message now because I set a reminder a few minutes ago.

Thanks so much :-))

Hello Peter,

Confirmed on Win98SE and TB v2.01.15 beta.

So there is at least three of us with this problem.

I am just wondering if this may have something to do with the daylight
time saving change last weekend. Because, as I say in my message, I
tested the scheduler a bit a few weeks ago and it seemed to work.

Hello Brigitte,

I usually lurk here (someone *always* posts about my question before I
get a moment to ask G)

Yes, that's a typical lurker :))

I noticed this behaviour earlier this week and thought the same thing.

Yes, it all points to a problem with the time change.

I don't think it *is* a time change problem. My scheduler had the bug
before you changed from summertime. In any case where I am (South Africa)
there has been no change to our clocks.I suspect that many scheduler
users either haven't noticed a problem or have merely set the scheduler one
hour later to compensate for its error.

You may be right. I obviously can't prove that problems in my case were
due to the time change.

The word trousers is an uncommon noun because it is singular at the top
and plural at the bottom.
