Does highlighting the messages, then Specials|Alternative Forward do
what you want?

I guess I should have been a little more explicit in my first message,
sorry.

In my Account/Properties/Forward template I have "Use MIME standard
for forwarding" selected. So, if the messages I want to forward are
all in the same folder, I can do as you say: select desired messages
and Forward. The problem comes when I want to forward messages that
are in different folders.

Start the new message, and just drag the messages from other folders
onto the new message. You might have to do some nifty finger and
mouse work to do so. ie...

- - Create new message
- - Go to folder with messages you want to attach, select and start to
  drag
- - use ALT-TAB to cycle to the new message
- - when at new message, drop message you are dragging onto it

That more like what you're after? I don't think you can select
multiple files from multiple folders and attach to the same email
another way, but I am free to be corrected ;)

Hello Jonathan,

That *is* what I was missing or didn't remember. Probably because for
normal file attachments you can drag them to the New message icon on
the task bar and, although not immediately, the editor window comes on
top and then you can drop. This does not happen if you try to drag a
message to the task bar icon, which is what I was trying to do today.

A zillion thank :-)

I forgot to mention you shouldn't let go of the email (mouse button
while dragging) otherwise this'll fail, but I guess you already got
that bit ;)

I use a more mouselike way.
Reduce the main TB window to one half of the screen. Now you can have
the folder view and the new message side by side. Then pick the message
to forward, drag it to the new message window and drop it there.

MAU> Any hints?

You can drag messages (from different folder or account) into a
message you are composing in the editor. The dragged-in messages are
being sent as (MIME-encoded) attachments.

A... a much tidier idea... I don't know why I didn't think of
it... probably because I have a cramped screen ;) Sliding windows all
over the place becomes difficult... hehe ;) Excellent idea.

Of course. But my worn ayes are thankful that I use most applications
maximised. I guess I tend to forget that windows can be resized.

Yes, of course. My problem today was that I was trying to drag
messages to the task bar like I do with normal file attachments and
that doesn't work for messages.
