That's exactly what I do. I have several pages of stuff like that in

Oh, that's a shame. Never mind. Think I'll look at your suggestion of
using a special folder. For some the attention is other than replying
to the email, so I'll need to manually move them to the right folders
after actioning them. I might offer my humble suggestion as a possible
feature request. You never know. My grateful thanks for your replies.

BM No, but I do something similar - color code message I plan to respond

BM messages when I'm ready to respond.

BM To make this quick, I use a PowerPro hotkey to bring up the specially

That's an interesting idea. Thank you Bill, I might just look into

No, what he means and I meant was the ability to auto complete the
nickname and also to restrict the search to the nickname. Current
implementation will stop if it finds a partial match in the name field
and may never reach the nickname that you were trying to use.

JN If you're asking whether TB! can complete a mailing address when you
JN type in the name of an individual or group recipient, the answer is
JN Yes. Add the nickname to the address book record under Nickname
JN (Handle), then type that nickname on the appropriate line.

2002-03-26 Thread Databug

Hello Gene,
On the 26/03/2002, you babbled on about Is this possible

GG Every e-mail client I have used has that feature except BAT. I
GG requested it about two weeks ago and while they didn't say yes, they
GG also didn't say no. There was some private e-mail back and forth as
GG to what I would expect, etc. so I think it was taken seriously.

I look forward to seeing this feature then. However I would like it
then to use the persons first name for the %TOFName tag in the
template. I would just prefer to search/autocomlete on nicknames as I
have severall Friends called Steve and the Bat always chooses the
first one unless I go by a match on the surname or EMail addy in the
latter case it uses the first part of the EMail addy for the %TOFName
wich is a little annoying.

That`s all for now

ACM That's a most peculiar requirement on your part. vbg This is most likely
ACM a bug that you've uncovered there. The problem is that you're using beta
ACM software for TB! and this problem may be confined to the beta version. I
ACM don't know if any full release version users wish to confirm whether or
ACM not this problem exists with their installations.

I can confirm that the same thing is happening here. (An "Edit Mail
Message" popup with a red circle/white X icon, and the text "You
cannot leave TO: field blank".) My guess is it is a feature
implemented by using the same "check msg format" routines for "Send"
and "Print".
