Thank you! Thank you! It worked opening it as a .UUE file! I had to
change all the filenames from .TXT to .EML first, but then when I
imported them they all showed up!

Thank you, everyone, for all your suggestions!

DS Any ideas on how to repair this folder's message base? The TBB file
DS is 528k, but I haven't put any limits on the number of messages that
DS can be stored in this folder... nor have I ever purged it.

When I delete the .TBI file, all the message disappear from the inbox
folder. Am I supposed to replace it with something? Here's what I've
done so far...

Created a new local folder and copied both the .TBB and .TBI files
into the new folder. After restarting TB, all the messages show up in
that new folder... but I still can't open any of them. When I deleted
the .TBI file and restarted TB again, the messages don't even show up
as being there.

Thanks!

SK You didn't specify whether you had an IMAP or local folder damaged. If

SK Once again, this is not going to work for any of your local folders.
SK Please, make sure that the damaged folder is an IMAP one.

Unfortunately, it's a local folder. Do you have any ideas on how to
recover the messages from a local folder?

Thanks!

Yes, it is. The .TBB file is 528k and the inbox shows all the
messages as being in there. However, if I click on any of those
messages I get the error message that the message base needs to be
repaired. Repairing it, though, doesn't make a difference -- I still
can't access the messages.

PC to fix it!

I've tried this about seven times now. I keep getting this message:

Messages recovered: 59, damaged parts (part.bin) saved: 0
Processing finished. 1 folders processed

When I go back to the inbox to access those messages, TB asks me again
if I want to repair the message base... even though I had just
repaired it.

Any idea what the (part.bin) means... and/or is this a clue
regarding some other action I should take?

Thanks!

Thanks, Sergey. When I delete the .tbb file, though, won't I lose all
the emails? I need to be able to access the messages. Should I copy
the contents of the .tbb file into a new file and rename it
messages.tbb or is there some sort of import procedure for
recovering those emails? In other words, how did you remove the .tbb
file and then recover the message base?
