That is precisely what just happened to me! I thought my chronological

OK. Yes, I've just tried that. Very handy. I did notice that if
Ctrl+Backspace is invoked a second time it bring up the next reply in
the sequence.

Correct.

Oooo. Yes! Which brings me to the problem of lodging a feature
request, but that is for another mail.

Thanks Stephan; all of you!

Hello Allie,

AM> What if the message has multiple replies or forwards?

That's what I meant by "However, there is a problem if a message was
both replied and forwarded." ;-))

We'll seek for a more viable solution while we're building the new
Virtual Folders architecture...

Yes. All of the forwards in my case do have their own folders. The
reply to the parent message remained in the Inbox Sent folder.

Yes, as some of mine did. Understood now.

My keyboard may be non-standard. I use a Toshiba Satellite laptop. The
Alt-Click does change the display, showing only the parent message in
question, but does not show the forwarded messages or reply.

That Alt+Click does not appear to be a toggle, and I had a great pause
and a large heartthump when all the other messages disappeared, until
I got to the View|Display|All. Definitely a heart-stopper.

Thanks for the reply. It is possible I remembered this from before I
switched to the laptop as my primary machine.

Thank you, I will keep this method in mind for future. In this case, I
was trying to find all the people to whom I forwarded the message,
preventing duplication.

AM> I do see what you're referring to being useful though.

Do you think it would be a subject for a feature request?
