Re: The Bat! question

2000-12-03 Thread Thomas Fernandez

Hello Tamas,

please send your messages to the list, not to me directly. Thanks. :-)

By default, TB will quote the original message. If it doesn't, there
is something wrong with your templates. I hand the ball to TBUDL.

From the menu, goto Account - properties (SFT-CTL-P)
click on "+" next to templates
click "reply"
Under "Sender Information used in Quotations"
click "none"

Unless you override with a QT, your default template will include ""
before each line of the email you are replying to.

Hello DOLIST Support Information,

Responding to your article on Monday, May 15, 2000 at 17:08:16 GMT +0200
(which was 15/05/2000 22:08 GMT +0700 my Local Time) :

DSI Since this post, it seems that the "outbox" folder was locked or something
DSI else, or the database was corrupted. Difficult to say.
DSI We have tester rights on folder and files, nothing too.

DSI Even if we stop/re-start TB, we cannot move any message, even manually into
DSI this folder. So we stop TB, delete the 2 base files located in the
DSI account/outbox folder and it goes well.
DSI We just lost all sent messages...

Wait..wait, have you try :
- stop and exit from TB!
- using Windows Explorer, delete messages.tbi from Outbox folder.
- start TB! again.
- TB! will recreate the index file.

Watch out with that:
if you have 'combined delivery' 'check upon start-up' both enabled,
everthing in your outbox will get resent!

to prevent this from happening, use the 'purge all folders'-command
first clear your outbox (parked messages etc... they'll be sent out,
since the 'parked'-flag is no longer in the index-file)

The Bat! - question (bug?) report

2000-05-15 Thread DOLIST Information Center

Hello The Bat! developers,

I'm using The Bat! Version 1.42c
  Serial Number C3810D62
under Windows NT 4.0 Build 1381 Service Pack 6
and would like to report a bug

  The bug description:

Since we have updating to 1.42, there is strange things concerning
filters, with the action. we have "send auto reply" action checked,
"send messages" option is "immediately", but a copy of the send message left
  in the "outbox" folder.

Is there any reason why with this new version ?

  Steps to reproduce the bug:

We send message to one of our account, sending box appears, the message is
sent but left anyway in "outbox" folder.

Regards,
  DOLIST Information Center
