Exactly. Just in case you're thinking otherwise, Voyager looks and acts just like your regular TB!. You won't be giving up any functionality of the program by using Voyager, just gaining some independence. -- ò.ó Nick Danger [MUA: TB! How have some of you handled that situation? Two suggestions: The first one is simple: set your second installation (laptop)up to leave the mail on the server. When you will be back you can all the mail receive as usual. I use this version, being at home only at weekends. The second one is the TB! internal sync, which do right this - syncs two installations. I tried it last with version 2.xx and came back to my first suggestion. But you can test it, maybe there were some improvements... -- Regards Dirk Current version is 3.99 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Works great and no need to sync files. I'm a bit confused. Does one download mail to the desktop version and to the Voyager on the USB drive? Or do you use only the Voyager version and always download mail to it, no matter which computer you're on--never using the desktop version of TB at all? -- Mike Current version is 3.99 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

email & traveling
I am using The Bat right now and have it all set up with filters, so going through my mail is never a real problem. While on vacation, I could read my mail online, so that is not a problem. In using my laptop, I would like to set up The Bat there too, so getting my mail while gone could be just as easy. First of all, may The Bat be legally installed on both my desktop and a laptop. Once I get back home, I'd want to sinc the laptop email with the computer. Is this doable? How have some of you handled that situation? Please give simple directions. Some of the email for this group just gets too technical. Thanks. J The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living.
