I've got two You've got new mail, one male and one female, from an
extremely old compuserve installation.  I've also got what sounds like
one ring of a U.S. telephone, which I use when I get voicemail via
email.

I have no idea how/where to post this for TB! users; I'm still in my
first week of evaluating.  Let me know if anyone wants them, and I'll
post them wherever everyone wants smile.

While I can send them individually, I'd rather not.

I just did a search which identified 589 '.wav' files on my harddrive.
I have made no effort to collect such but windows gave lots to start
with and lots of other programs come with some as well. I'm sure if
you did a similar search you'd find lots of files to choose from. I
used to use the roadrunner beeping, but I don't know where I got it.

Two that I use are Star Trek's Worf saying Incoming message,
Captain, and Addams Family mail's in. These aren't particularly
subtle, but I work from home and when I'm in the lounge room watching
television, I can hear if the computer (in the study) has received a
mail that requires a rapid response.

I use some sound bits from Monty Python. they came with the first
CD-ROM issued with their label (*Complete Waste of Time*). Lots of
quite nice sentences from their TV-Show. One account's got Your
lupines please uttered by John Cleese and used by me the other way
round than it was used by him.
