When I refer to the interface, I use what is there, typos and all, when I write in general, I use accent. [TCP] I lost the battle but thoughts
Hi, I lost the battle but what are your thoughts? In our tech docs we are using the term "diacritic mark." I argue that we should say "accent mark" because more people know what that is. Also, diacritic is not an adjective. So, it should be "diacritic" not "diacritic mark." I lost. And am okay with that. (Am secretly using "accent mark" in my documentation, bwahahahaha. ) Any thoughts from any of you who translate, are having a slow Friday, or both?
