i just tried the latest snapshot from today (04-Jan-2017 11:27) and the 
problem still exists. Would it be helpful for debugging if i tested it 
with the install.iso as well? Or should be install.fs and install.iso be 
the same in that regard?

It is more likely this is related to some small UEFI changes that
have occured.
