RE: TeraScript-Talk: OS X support strategy
To clarify, we are thinking to continue support of TeraScript 6.2 on OS X 10.7 -10.8 and then only support TeraScript 7.0 on OS X 10.9. So Mac user's should consider upgrading to TeraScript 7 only after they have otherwise upgraded and qualified their environment on OS X 10.9. Is there a 10.9 server? I have not seen one. Re: TeraScript-Talk: OS X support strategy
I think everyone in our group of programmers is already changed over to 10.9. This is irrelevant to your question, but FYI, all functions of Terascribe / Terascript 6 working fine with 10.9. (Terascribe J2EE compiler working, too, but only if you upgrade as opposed to starting from a "clean install" of 10.9.) Sent from my iPad > On Oct 28, 2013, at 11:31 AM, "Robert Shubert" wrote: > > Mac users: > > Apple has made a significant policy change with the latest OS X release. RE: TeraScript-Talk: OS X support strategy
Not specifically. Since Apple dropped their Xserve hardware line and reduced the “OS X Server” product to an add-on ($20 for 10.9). We’ve mostly focused on the non-server, expecting customers to use TeraScript Server for development and testing purposes. OS X users are looking to other platforms for production deployment although some are using desktop systems as servers. We will update the installer so that it can work with 10.9 with and without the OS X Server add-on. TeraScript-Talk: OS X support strategy
Mac users: Apple has made a significant policy change with the latest OS X release. You can now install 10.9 on to nearly every system sold since 2009 for free. Due to this, we suspect that the vast majority of Mac users will upgrade their systems to this OS and we'd like to know from you if that is or isn't the case.
