Fedora does not package VB. If VB fails to install on Fedora, the issue should be reported to wherever you are getting VB from. I discovered that virtualbox.org provides a .run file similar to those provided by Nvidia. The Cat's virtualization: 0 for 2
I installed today's F19 on the 6 GB Core Duo 6550 machine today and ran yum update. This time I downloaded the rpmfusion files and installed them with rpm. Vlc and ffmpeg installed without problems. VirtualBox refused to install. I was able to get the virtual machine manager to start installing SCO Unix. Installation slowed down to "slower than a mole in granite". It has been stuck at 80% installed for the last half hour or so, using 100% of one core. There is no unusual HD activity. When not broken, VirtualBox loads SCO quickly. -- Chuck Forsberg WA7KGX c...@omen.com www.omen.com Developer of Industrial ZMODEM(Tm) for Embedded Applications Omen Technology Inc "The High Reliability Software" 10255 NW Old Cornelius Pass Portland OR 97231 503-614-0430 -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test

Can you check it with 'yum repolist enabled' ? The /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates-testing.repo that the pre-release fedora-release-19 rpm includes, enables updates-testing by default. I suppose it can end up disabled after distro upgrades when the rpm config file protection kicks in and it creates the new repo files as .rpmnew. Once it's enabled, a simple 'yum update' should be enough to update everything to the updates-testing version. -- Hope this helps, Kalev -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
