I agree that we do need to help Pete, but don't despair, his son Colin told me over the weekend that he has trained well and can take over once his dad retires from providing the hot tub. Cool, then we can all help Colin. It's a HUGE job, especially if they are doing the sauna too. Dale said when he was helping Pete Sunday morning, he was the only person. He saw lots of young folks mingling around who did not offer to help at all. And I am sure they were all using it all weekend. -Denise From: speleoste...@aol.com Date: Wed, 19 Oct 2011 07:59:33 -0400 Subject: Re: [Texascavers] Thanks for the hot tub To: pepabe...@hotmail.com; jsschneid...@smithsys.net; texascavers@texascavers.com I agree that we do need to help Pete, but don't despair, his son Colin told me over the weekend that he has trained well and can take over once his dad retires from providing the hot tub. I couldn't make TCR this year due to family health matters but plan to be there in 2012. I have witnessed the results of the tremendous amount of labor and commitment that Pete subjects himself to each year. I will endeavor to be there early enough to help out next year. I don't know how Pete does it for such a short period for others to enjoy. It is a lot of work and is enjoyed by most.
