Hi Kelly, There is no formal how-to guide to d-cubed, aside from the stuff written in the Getting Started tiddler in the demo you can download from dcubed.ca. I have tried to make it reasonably intuitive and, unlike mGTD, you don't really need to know all the tags, functions, etc. to get things done. [tw] Question regarding TwT-notes TopMenu
Hi TwWizards I've been tinkering with TwT-notes for a few days. It seems to work very fine - but I get a peculiar behaviour of the TopMenu in IE. Everything right of the find-button is shown twice - in the TopMenu and in a black bar beneath the TopMenu. (This isn't the case in FF). Maybe I have broken something? Have a look at it here: http://el0809.tiddlyspot.com When I'm saving the TW online, the popup dissapears much to quickly (one split sec)- and pops up again for about 1 sec - when It has been saved. [tw] Re: Congratulations with TWT-notes Treeview
How so, Wolfgang. Just by importing theme tiddlers? Now you can. For debugging purposes I created one systemTheme tiddler with the most essential of both - MenuMore and Overflow style - together with the PageTemplate and menu switching buttons themself, all in one tiddler. You only need to place the menu buttons where you would want them with this tiddler section transclusion, which I placed in the SiteSubtitle tiddler now: tiddler FlexTheme##Menu and: config.options.txtTheme=FlexTheme; in a systemConfig tagged tiddler to have it applied after a saveChanges and reload. Also the 'HowTo' tiddler has been updated to this particular case. All you need additionally is to create the main menu themself and proceed as explained in 'HowTo'. [tw] Overflow Style - MenuMore hybrid with IE incompatibility ?
I tried to combine the best of these two themes, which for themself alone do work with IE at their original sites: http://cleanlayout.tiddlyspot.com/ http://tinyurl.com/59gpna But not stripped to their essentials and taken together (tested with IE 8) - while it works perfectly fine with Firefox here: http://flextheme.tiddlyspot.com/ Even separating the essential styles of each again doesn't works with IE. Two major bugs: # The max-width of the main menu defined by 'Overflow style' inadvertently determines the width of tiddler and sidebar display together and which are placed below the main menu. If the max-width is removed, both still remain below the main menu, but extent to where usually the sidebar starts. # Only the default tiddlers show on startup, and only the second menu is switched without opening a new tiddler. While menu buttons 3 to 5 don't have any effect at all. [tw] Re: Converting Inline Script?
HOLY COW!!! With this fabulous trick by Eric I just reduced QuickEditPackage (without StyleSheetSortcuts) from 53040 bytes (19 tiddlers) down to 37679 bytes within 2 tiddlers - while only remaining dependent to StickyPopupPlugin - and having added quite some custom formats! http://menuflex.tiddlyspot.com/#EditBar%20EditFormat Or, for example, MiniBrowserPlugin, by using its last inline script before it was converted, from 16683 bytes down to 8450 bytes: http://menuflex.tiddlyspot.com/#Browser As far as I got it till now, EditBar only hasn't got its original ability to be toggled, and Browser hasn't the abilities added since it was converted to a Plugin from version 0.0.0. Eric, is there a good reason for still keeping such Plugins on one hand dependent to InlineJavascriptPlugin - on the other, why keep them even dependend to a systemConfig tag at all, as they appear working almost as well without? Please feel free to make suggestions, if they aren't sufficiently changed as variants of your plugins. And if anyone finds a bug, I would appreciate to be informed. regards.. --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups TiddlyWiki group. [tw] Re: Tiddlywiki to Mediawiki
There are a few resources for extracting from mediawiki to tiddlywiki (namely MediaWikiAdaptorPlugin and MediaWikiFormaterPlugin) which i found in tiddlyvault.com I also need the otherwise - from tiddlywiki back to mediawiki. The adaptor/sync mechanism works both ways: http://tiddlywiki.org/wiki/Synchronization There should be a list of tiddlers originating from your MediaWiki instance (that's assuming you've selected Keep these tiddlers linked to this server when importing), which allows you to push changes to the server (provided the respective MediaWiki instances is configured to accept edits via the API). [tw] Re: Overflow Style - MenuMore hybrid with IE incompatibility ?
http://cleanlayout.tiddlyspot.com/ FWIW, I remember noticing some issues with this in IE a few months ago. I didn't thoroughly investigate at the time, so it's possible there were other factors - but I'm not sure anymore whether this technique ever worked in IE in the first place (I don't care about legacy browsers, unless I have to). -- F. --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups TiddlyWiki group.
