I do the same with a slightly modified version of TWT-Blackicity-Lite, itself
tweak of a TW-Treeview, both by Morris Gray. In addition to A Treeview menu it
uses TiddlersBar and makes sophisticated use of tagging.

see http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#AttachFilePackage

To create attachment tiddlers containing embedded images, you need
   http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#AttachFilePlugin
   http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#AttachFilePluginFormatters
   http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#AttachFileMIMETypes

Once the attachment tiddlers are created, you only need
   http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#AttachFilePluginFormatters
to render the images. Use standard TW syntax, but replace the normal
filename or URL reference with the name of an attachment tiddler, like
this:

Although you have tagged the plugin *tiddler*, the plugin *code* is
still active because plugins are loaded during document startup. Once
loaded, changes to the tiddler won't affect the javascript runtime,
which has already invoked the TrashPlugin code. To actually disable a
plugin, you must reload the document (not just refresh the displays).

You can use SearchOptions plugin and specify, what should be found.

I use zzConfig [1] to permanently set/init the options needed.

If you have some problems with my (neui-em) shadow tiddlers, I can tag
them accordingly. I didn't do that, sinc nobody complained yet.

[tw] Re: How well Tidlly scales?

To create realistic tiddlers you can do the following.

Get InlineJavaScriptPlugin [1]
Create some LoremIpsum text [2]
  copy as much text as needed into a tiddler named: LoremIpsum

Copy the following script into a test tiddler

!!! Turn off AutoSave option

Change maxCnt to eg 20 and run it several times.

Save your TW.
And test the behaviour.

It's quick and dirty but tested :)
-m

var maxCnt = 1;   // <- change this

var tid = store.getTiddler('LoremIpsum');
var date, random, mId;

for (var i = 0; i < maxCnt; i +=1) {
  date = new Date();
  random = Math.floor(Math.random()*1000);
  mId = Crypto.hexSha1Str(date + random);

  name = 'LoremIpsum (' + mId.substr(0,8) + ')';

// (title, newTitle, newBody, modifier, modified, tags, fields)
  tags = ['tagIt'+i, 'asdf', 'test'];
  store.saveTiddler( name, name, tid.text,
tid.modifier, tid.modified,  tags,
{} );
}

[tw] Force TiddlyWiki to refresh/restart

2011-04-06 Thread whatever
Hi!

How do you force TiddlyWiki to refresh/restart? I thought
refreshDisplay() refreshed the display and restart(); restarted the
wiki, but apparently they don't always. For example, I'm using fET
with a script to generate buttons to remove/add a tag from/to a
tiddler, for example:

>

It removes the tag and saves, but it doesn't refresh.

But if I use the following script, it refreshes:
config.commands.deleteTiddler.sendToTrash(\""+tiddler.title+"\");
