For those unfamiliar with mGSD and mGSD Enhancements:
*(Hey, there's always new people in this forum!)*

*About mGSDmGSD http://monkeygtd.blogspot.com/ is a
GTDhttp://www.davidco.com-based
TiddlyWiki http://www.tiddlywiki.com developed by Simon Baird. It can be
used as a simple Getting-Things-Done task manager, or as a complex project
management system (and indeed, I do use it this way in my daily work).

mGSD features dashboards for Projects, Action Items, Contexts, Areas, and
Contacts which give an excellent view of your tasks. They are tightly
interlinked, and allow extremely complex task-tracking to be presented in a
very elegant and beautiful way.

About mGSD Enhancements:
Meetings, Project Status Updates, Tickler Calendar, and Layout Tweaks!*Please
note - This is a work in progress! It is very usable, and I welcome help
and/or comments!*
*Current version is 1.2i, 27/7/12*These extensions and enhancements came
about over the course of using mGSD as my daily organizational app. As I
tried integrating it into my workflow as a Senior Project Manager and
part-time Web Developer, I realized I needed something more formal. For
instance, as of 1/02/12, mGSD did not have any Meeting capabilities, nor a
good place for general Project Status Updates. As well, the general feel of
the app was excellent, but needed subtle refinements here and there in it's
layout and Dashboards. Behind the scenes, there was an opportunity to bring
together the theme more elegantly, and finally by adding a selection of
Plugins and integrating them into the Tiddler layout, I was able to add and
integrate more functionality. The end result is an excellent overall
Project Management system on a personal scale.
*
Changelog of current and previous versions:

*v1.2g/h/i - 27/07/12:

   * Updated: Imported all custom Tiddlers to empty TW2.6.6Alpha1 file
   * Fixed: Dependant action made by clicking the newDepAction button
now inherit the tags (including contexts) of its parent (fixed and merged
NewHerePluginExtended into mGSDMeetingEnhancementsPlugin)
   * Added TableEditorPlugin and TableCalculatorPlugin to augment
SortableGridPlugin - adds spreadsheet-like functionality!
   * Turned off ignoreRealm in Contacts dashboard (in
TagDashboardEnhanced) for a much more focused, readable view of tasks.
   * Added Future Ticklers to Projects dashboard (in
TagDashboardEnhanced)
   * Changed the word Close to [x] in messages
   * Tweaks to TitleButtons for cleaner layout, especially in narrow
windows

v1.2/a/b/c/d/e/f - 1/03/12:
   * Merged a tweak to groupOfSingleToggleTags, to prevent breaking of
context checkbox/label when wrapping (if using mGSDThemeEnhanced)
   * Realms are inherited properly (thanks to cmari)
   * Make new ActionItems specific to Project
   * Added delist macro to Projects list in Contacts Dashboard, to
un-associate people from projects (use view:ProjectDelist in
mgtdListEnhanced)
   * Moved tag-matching back to (an improved) regex, and other bug
fixes.
   * Removed dependancies on stock mGSD Selector, Dashboard and
Buttons Tiddlers
   * AgendaItems can now be added to multiple meetings, and tagged as
discussed individually at each meeting
   * References in a Project's Dashboard now have a remove [x] button
and a Notes preview icon using new ViewMethods render_plainNotes and
render_plainText, which in turn use delist

[tw] Re: Grounded Theory Coding

2012-07-27 Thread Niklas Wagner
I have been using Tobias Beers hastags plugin for Grounded Theory Coding. I
saved my Interview transcriptions as tiddlys and put an ! before each
timestamp so that each timestamp would make a section. then i coded(what
grounded theoy calls coding we call tagging) for categorys and put
everywhere where my informants spoke about snails a #snail, weeds a #weed
and so on. for apreciated values i put an $ like $order $beefreindly $eco.

when i am using th hastag macro i get an overview about all the sections
with the hastag orderd

hastag x
  tiddler i
section a
section b
section c

This is great and much better than WerftQDA, not to mention useng a very
expensive non free program like MaxQDA. I want to Thank Tobias for this
great Plugin,

For even better usage i would propose to have the following additions

1) an option would be good that only shows the hastags of a certain
tiddler, so i can see the hastags in only one interview. like hashtag
TiddlerA

2) my sections a to big to see in on glace without scrolling the position
of the tag, an extra option of the hastag macro would be great that only
lists the paragraph where the hastag is in instead of the whole section.

2a) (low priortiy) it would be very great if by clicking on the section,
first the pragraph comes an by clicking on the paragrap the section opens.
and py clicking on the section then the whole tiddler opens on the position
of the hashtag

2b) (low priortiy i use the hastag plugin to find interesting sections in
my interview transcriptions that i can use for citation and writing about.
when i mark text to copy it i have to mark the text and leave the
mousecoursor outside of the textbox or it closes.
solution would be that the opening n closing of the sections is not done by
clicking on them bot by a button.

3) the ordering of the sections in the listing of the hastag macro dont
make a tifference between ! or !! or !!!

when i have an subsection !!2:00 in section !003 then it is listed before
!!3:00 in section !001 .

hastag x
  tiddler i
section 2:00
section 3:00

so it would be usefull to have the hieracy of sections in the list of the
hastag plugin like

hastag x
  tiddler i
section 001
   subsection 3:00
section 003
   subsection 2:00

I did some experimentation and maybe inline hashtags in your tiddler

Re: [tw] Re: Proposed change to HTMLFormattingPlugin (@Eric)

In any case, if you find that my alternative suggested usage as
described above would be acceptable for your purposes, and you can
wait a bit for me to write, test and publish some new code, then I

HTMLFormattingPlugin.

Eric, thanks for your kind reply,

I agree that using a wiki tag instead of a new special-meaning CSS
classname could be a good and clean alternative to my proposal (and good
for my purposes), the change is pretty straightforward.

So, there's no need to wait, I see that you are busy with Tiddliwiky
development, and I made it as my homework. Here is the revised code:

http://tizziano.altervista.org/files/myHTMLFormattingPlugin.txt

note: there is another slight change in my version. I made the formatter
to wrap his content into a div element instead of span. The reason
is that, as I understand, valid (X)HTML doesn't allow nesting block
elements inside inline elements [1].

Really I don't realize why generic content is often nested in a span
element, this happens also with the tiddler macro that I modified too.

[tw] Re: TiddlyWiki 2.6.5 Safari 6.0

2012-07-27 Thread Chris
Yep - definitely not working - and definitely not opening/loading the
Tiddlysaver applet. At first thought that the problem was due to
sandboxing in Mountain Lion - but no sign of a sandbox error in the
logs. Not smart enough to go further on the problem right now - but will
post if I figure it out.

Is anyone else unable to save new tiddlers or changes to existing ones
