Richard,

likewise! I change it to a normal tiddler and bingo!

I presume that's a copy to clipboard button

could a whole tiddler be copied to clipboard from the toolbar?

Hi Alex,

I did the same and it does work, but not if you set the tiddler type to SVG
- which is confusing to me.

@Andrew - SVG graphics are really cool, but they took me a while to get my
head around at first - open the SVG image in your browser and then choose
view-source and there it is. That's the code that the browser uses to draw
the picture - you can edit it by hand in a text-editor. I also had some
success with this google-code SVG editor

[tw] Re: TW5 Sortable Tables

2015-06-26 Thread Jed Carty
You can sort the simple tables I made
, but unfortunately
only by columns for row tables and by rows for column tables because I
can't find a way to sort different fields by their value as opposed to
sorting tiddlers based on the value of the same field in each tiddler.

Filtering table entries and adding anything to the more complex tables
takes more work, so it may happen later.

[tw] Re: How do you create a new tiddler WITHOUT editing?

2015-06-26 Thread Jed Carty
If you want to use a template tiddler you use this:

<$button>Make Tiddler Using Template
<$action-setfield $tiddler=TemplateTiddler title=NewTitle other_filed="some
value"/>

Because of how action-setfield works this creates a new tiddler that is a
copy of the template with a new title and has no affect on the template.
You should be able to do almost everything (or possibly everything) that
you can do using template tiddlers and the message this way.

Thanks Jed!

It appears if I use this approach that I forfeit the ability to use a

I can still create the tiddler by using a series of $action-setfield

That would work great! Creating and maintaining them easily (creating them

clicking column header is a welcome addition as it allows for interpreting

Andrew,

have you tried converting the image?

A quick google for "convert png to svg" returns this [1]

[tw] Re: TW5 Sortable Tables

2015-06-26 Thread Birthe C
Hi Jed,

Waw, that is definitely something I can use, sorting by clicking column
header would make it even better.

[tw] [TW5] How create SVG icons

2015-06-26 Thread andrew.j.harrison84

I've been using a program on my phone called isopix and have a PNG file with
what I want to turn into a Tiddlywiki icon for a plugin but I can't figure out
how to get it to be an embedded svg icon that uses polygon points like the
native icons in Tiddlywiki. Anyone have any suggestions?

2015-06-26 Thread Danielo Rodríguez
There is a plugin that creates some kind of Excel sheet within the tiddler. I
don't remember the name but it is quite impressive.

[tw] Re: [TW5] Source attribute for the video html tag

2015-06-26 Thread BJ

I think this should work

\define videocall1()
<$set name="mySource" value={{VideoPathDictionary##$(origin)$}}>
<>

\end

\define videocall()

\end

<$set name="origin" value={{!!origin}}>
<$set name="filename" value={{!!filename}}>
<>

Re: [tw] [TW5.1.8] TiddlyMap - show tagging links in a view?

2015-06-26 Thread Matthew Petty
Hi Felix, one more question. In TiddlyMap, I can add an edge between two
nodes, and use the 'tmap:tag' edge type. But this does not actually tag one
node with another. Is it possible to do this?
It's great that I can see the tagging relationships in a view, but it would
be great if I could actually add and delete tags directly in the view. Is
that possible?

Thanks again for your help with this.
Best regards,
Matthew
