[tw] Re: 2nd Beta of new TiddlySaver.jar with a renewed certificate
Works fine for me in TW 2.6.5 in Safari on OSX 10.5.8 Thanks. [tw] Re: Announcement: TiddlyWiki 2.7.0 Beta 1
Hi Eric, Congratulations on what you've gotten done. 2.7.0b1 doesn't save on my Safari (5.0.6) on Mac OSX 10.5.8 or 10.6.8. As far as I can tell, this is exactly the same situation as TW2.6. I had to use your updating track to import my tiddlers into the downloaded 2.7.0b1 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. [tw] Re: Announcement: TiddlyWiki 2.7.0 Beta 2 includes fixes for local file import
Safari 5.0.6 (tested on OSX 10.5.8 and 10.6.8) using TiddlySaver from 2.6.5 and 2.6.6 can import using Backstage(Import) Can't Save This is the same condition as 2.6.6 and 2.7.0beta1 Thanks for your efforts. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. [tw] Noob questions - tiddler / display formatting
Hi, I've just had another look at Tiddlywiki after originally starting a home tiddlywiki in 2006. I would like to do some basic page formatting but am struggling to find a good easy intro level website. I would like to 1) Turn off the username / editing dates at the top of each tiddler. 2) Disable the edit tab (or find out how to turn these tabs on or off on each tiddler) Is there a handy tutorial for very (very) basic editing? I have looked at http://twhelp.tiddlyspot.com/index.html and the main wiki site but can't seem to see these basic editing elements. Help! [tw] error message / tiddlywiki has been incorrectly saved
Hi, I downloaded a tidlywiki yesterday and chuffed away editing thinking all was well with the world. I saved the end of the session using the save changes after being pleased with myself for inserting photo's. Today however I get a tidlywiki has been incorrectly saved message and some elements of the screen are screwed, such as dual versions of the backstage toolbar. Help, can I recover this or do I need to start afresh and copy my data across. I pretty much followed the instructions on installing tiddlywiki on Xp for firefox from the downloads page but to no avail. [tw] Embedding external audio
Hi folks, hopefully you can give me some pointers. I'm having an issue linking a tiddler containing an external audio link. I have followed a similar process detailed in the www.tiddlywiki.com - "Audio" tiddler for External Audio after downloading an empty tw5 file. Installing the external file plug in tiddler that gives the "_canonical uri" reference allows me to play the local audio in a single tiddler which plays ok. But I can't seem to reference that audio file from other tiddlers in the same way that it's done within the "Audio" tiddler (for the Caruso game Ave Maria example) This is how I reference it: <> Which in the Local song tiddler is referenced as /storage/emulated/0/andtidwiki/chess/sample.wav Interestingly, I also downloaded a copy of the main wiki file, and if I make edits to the audio tiddler below the Caruso example it works OK, so is the another plug in that I need to allow this to work? [tw] Lockfile feature for TW5
I suppose this is something that has been asked before but I couldn't find an answer even though I tried for a couple of hours: I have been using TW-Classic for a small group of people (5-10) as a tool for a project - mainly for documentation and information purposes. In order to prevent people from overwriting each other's work when editing simultaneously, I've used the lockfile plugin. It's not perfect, but it worked. Now I want to create a new TW using TW5. I need to use the stand-alone version of TW5 without node.js since we use a closed system where we cannot install anything. However, I can't find any equivalent to the TW-Classic lockfile plugin. Does that mean there isn't any? If so, why? Is there any workaround that I can use given our restrictions? That lockfile feature would be the best and easiest way for me. [tw] Re: [TW5] Get list of descendants by recursively assembling filter?
these kinds of things are now pretty much solved with the wikify widget https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5/issues/2337 I fired up my tw from source and i now can construct recursive macros to generate filters and then have their output (through a wikify) go in a filter attribute of whatever widget that uses it. excellent! seriously the doc is confusing. there is a difference b/w intersection in the mathematical sense and the way things are described in the docs.
