[tw] how to delete unwanted revisions in noteself

2017-04-08 Thread dodoo
I am using noteself to keep notes. The feature of revisions is one of the
reason I choose it. But there are some tiddlers I don't want to keep
revisions. How I can:
1. disable revision feature for some specific tiddlers?
2. remove unwanted revisions for existing tiddlers?

I like noteself very much. Now I can sync tiddlers between my PC and
Andriod phone.

The only thing left unsolved is I still cannot access
https://noteself.github.io/online on my ipad. I have tried several
browsers: safri, chrome, and firefox. All of them kept loading and showed
nothing.

Re: [tw] [TW5] Node.js vs. single HTML

2014-06-25 Thread dodoo
I choose Node.js for the same reason.
But I am worry about the security issue of cloud storage. Is there handy
tool can automatically encrypt .tid file in local before sync with cloud?

 Hi Ulrik,

I am interested, because it seems I will be generating a large file - for
now it is just 3mb, but when I add some long tables, it may become close to
10mb. And I will keep adding. I have seen posts that tiddlywiki starts to
slow down dramatically at some point (20mb if my memory serves me well). Is
there any way to avoid that?

If you use a sync app like owncloud or dropbox to keep your files safe,
you will see an advantage to the server mode in terms of bandwith usage:
instead of synchronising one big file each time you are changing a tiddler,
you'll sync only the file corresponding to the tiddler you are editing.

 Cheers,
 Xavier.
