I gave up on firefox and started using waterfox. It admits the Tiddlyfox complement for saving. M. [tw] Re: Matrix with JsMath
Hi Yakov, Thanks a lot, I had misunderstood the documentation for the plugin. I'll give it a try with MathJax... what I've read about a local install so far does not diverges too much of local installation of JsMath. M. [tw] Re: Matrix with JsMath
Hi, Yes I considered it time ago but it relays on an external on-line machine to render the symbols. Internet connection here is not as good as it should. So a local solution like jsMath suits better for me. (I use TW with teaching purpouses). By the way I have notice that your problem dissapears when using old firefox 3.6.9 (I attach a jpeg with my version at the top and yours at the bottom) so it might be firefox 20.0's the bad guy. [tw] Re: Matrix with JsMath
Hi I had similar with {array}. Still I cannot say what is the cause, but I, sort of, solve it... at least for small diagrams. The problem seems to be related to the way the LaTeX code is written. Try to write all the code of the {pmatrix} in a single line. Then reload the jsmath fonts for the 'better' resolution to show up. I used the following code within my TW (see the attachment). $$ \begin{pmatrix}L_m&&\\&J_m + {J_r \over {n^2}}&\\&& 1 \over K_s & & & &\\ & & & J_j & & & \\ & & & & 1 \over K_s & & \\ & & & & & J_m + {J_r \over {n^2}} & \\ & & & & & & L_m \\ \end{pmatrix} $$ $$ A_i\cap A_j=\left\{\begin{array}{ll}\emptyset&\text{nada común}\\v&\text{vértice común}&\\a&\text{arista común}\end{array}\right. $$ $$ \begin{pmatrix}a&b\\ c& d\end{pmatrix} $$ Still your quite large matrix has the parenthesis slightly slanted I hope this helps. [tw] Re: Math without plug-in
Hi, I use the jsMath plugin quite satisfactory (see http://mcard.tiddlyspot.com/, http://ehcuds.tiddlyspot.com/ or http://udsth0910.tiddlyspot.com/). It does not cover LaTex completly (I miss the possibility of using xy-diagrams- for this I upload jpeg images of diagrams previously compiled), but it does quite the job. HI! I've tested it today and seems to work fine except for the jsMath plugin which I use for rendering math equations. It doesn't find the jsMath installation though it is located in the right place withn dropbox. Great job anyway. M.
