RE: [TMIC] Improving?????

2009-05-25 Thread Patricia Cooley
I AM HAPPY FOR YOU THAT YOU HAVE HAD SOME IMPROVEMENT IN YOUR PAIN. I AM
GLAD YOU WERE ABLE TO GET OUT IN YOUR GARDEN. THAT IS ONE OF MANY THINGS I
MISS NOT BEING ABLE TO PLANT FLOWERS LIKE BEFORE. THANKFULLY, MY HUSBAND
LOVES HIS GARDEN AND IS STILL ABLE TO PLANT. I WILL PRAY THAT YOU CONTINUE
TO IMPROVE.

I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT MEMORIAL DAY.

I've had a week of less pain over all and almost no buzz when I tip my head
down ( L'hermittes' sign) have been able to use a hoe and shovel in the
garden my father (he's 81 and healthy as a horse) helped me plant. One year
ago I was in too much pain and depression to plant things and left the
small garden my husband and kids planted to go to seed. keep me in your
prayers! Perhaps I'll be able to wean off Cymbalta and not need to sleep 16
hours a day

I started on Lyrica in the spring of 2007 and added Cymbalta in the
fall 2007. It helped tremendously with the pain and my depression
but also made me sleepy. Adding Amantadine 100mg morning and noon
help counteract drowsiness but if you're not depressed I'd stay off.
Cymbalta saved my life but I hear it is hellish to wean off of. I've
heard of some people opening up capsules and removing grains to make
successively lower doses to help withdrawal and if I continue to feel
better and stronger I want to get off it first. I don't mind staying
on Lyrica as I do really well on it .

Hi Mndy are you saying that cymbalta makes you sleep a lot or it is
better for pain. My neuro wants to put me on. Is this a side affect
for you? I am afraid to take them from hearing about these side
effects I take Flexril and it makes me so drowsy. Will you give me
some points? I do hope you get better

Peggy,
I am glad you got rid of your Bedrock Baby. Never had one, but hear it is a
killer. Since counseling may be out of the
picture for you, you can rely on us. We are always here. Janice

Good morning everyone on the West Coast and Good afternoon to all on the East
Coast,I took the EMG and everything was well.No more nerve damage than from
the beginning which was very minimal. My neurologist is sending me to a TM
specialist at Barrow's Neurological Clinic where I go. They are suppose to
compare films and scans to find out why my fingers are getting numb. I am
waiting for a call so I will know what I am up against. Really to see if there
is something else to be concerned about. The EMG was very painful along with
the electrical shocks He inserted long needles near my wrist and deep into my
forearm, shoulder and back I Cried. On Wednesday I had to take the Kidney
Stone to be analyzed at Canyon State Urology Clinic this place is too
expensive after my $25.00 co-pay The counseling could be from$90.00 to 300.00
can't afford it I had no plans on buying stock. I hope I can get a payment plan
along with the other bills. I can't afford to go back. They said I would get
billed for the counseling charge. I am doing good I feel much better since I
gave birth to theBEDROCK BABY, (Kidney stone I mean). Like the FLINTSTONES
just joking around. Those pains were as if I was! I owe all of this to God He
just keep on blessing me over an over again and all of you also. I having fun I
cannot be sad. When we all get healed we can have a Family Reunion It is good
to talk but I like to see faces also. So each of you have a blessed day. I will
talk soon. Thanks for all your responses to my letter and the advice you gave.
God Bless
