JANICE - MANY YEARS AGO MY FAVORITE AUNT, WHO HAD MANY MEDICAL PROBLEMS THROUGH THE YEARS, HAD A TEMPORARY COLOSTOMY FOR A LITTLE OVER A YEAR. IT WAS THEN REVERSED AND EVERYTHING WENT WELL AND SHE LIVED OVER 20 SOME YEARS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM WITH IT AND WAS WELL INTO HER 80'S WHEN SHE PASSED AWAY. A few years ago I had a mother-in-law that had a colostomy. After she had it for about 5 years they were able to close it, and she did fine after that until she passed away about 10 years later. I want to join, I think I qualify. I take diarrhea pills because I am terrified of getting it. If I do, it's making an appearance, no matter where or when. So, as a result, when I go, it's a brick, it even has the raised letters, like bricks do, you know B M.
