My feet swell up too. I wear compression socks - they help a lot. Very
tough to get on - and off.

Good grief, Frank! I'm so glad you mentioned this. I have an awful
time with my feet swelling. I was worried about poor circulation but my
dr says no. I don't eat salt. I drink a lot of water. I try to walk
as much as these (Stupid Stupider) legs of mine will allow. When I
sit, I put my feet up. I've been on the verge of hiring someone to rub
them every night.
Wow.
Thnx.

My feet seem to be getting bigger. The bruising remained.

The swelling may be from the affects of TM on your blood vessels. My
legs swell slowly during the day because of nerve damage in my spinal
cord.
Good Luck

[TMIC] Bruising

2008-04-24 Thread Regina Rummel
I noticed weird bruising in my feet and ankles recently. I thought at first
that my shoes were responsible and started wearing a size 7 instead of a 6 1/2
and a wide instead of a medium. My feet seem to be getting bigger. The
bruising remained.

Then I saw a very good foot specialist who said it was probably the prednisone.
I had been taking just 1mg, that's next to nothing. The doctor said that long
term Prednisone will cause bruising.

Anyone familiar with the above?

REgina,

Prednisone is a nasty medication.

1 MG. IS JUST ENOUGH TO CAUSE BAD SIDE-EFFECTS WITHOUT HELPING YOU.

I'd recommend getting a real doctor, a good neurologist!!

I had to laugh at you calling your legs 'Stupid and Stupider'so funny!
Thanks for making us smile!!

Frank, maybe I can reach you this way??? I just wanted to tell you it was
nice to have you back and that we, too, are planning on taking a road trip
on Route 101 along the Oregon/Calif. Hiway. Jack wants to show me Hearst's
Castle and stop whenever and wherever we want. I also said it wasn't TMIC
news but just wanted to share it with you. Don't know why I can't get thru
to you?? j
