RE: Tomcat, eclipse and jpda
Serg, If you turn on jpda mode, I assume that you want to perform a remote debugging. If your question is where should the debugging client run, then the answer is that you can do the debugging either on the client or on the server. However, I don't think you should use port 8080. To find out, or to define, which port it is used, you may look into your catalina.sh. By default, it uses port 8000. I'm not sure if I understand you question, but I hope this is what you're asking. I have two machines, one is a tomcat server and the other machine is my workstation. I execute tomcat with ./catalina.sh jpda run and i can connect with eclipse when I try to debug. This is a client machine. But, I don't debug anything. The project to debug where would it stay??? In server or client machine??? Moreover, how can i execute the jsp or sevlet??? With URL http://server:8080/ Thanks SERGI - Yahoo! Sorteos ¡Ya puedes comprar Lotería de Navidad! - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
RE: Tomcat 5.x and JBoss
Have you posted this question in the JBoss forum? SC -Original Message- From: J.L. [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, December 02, 2003 5:22 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Tomcat 5.x and JBoss Hi, I want to use JBoss 3.2.2 and Tomcat 5.0.14. The problem is that I have to replace the JBoss embedded Tomcat, by the 5.0.14 version (I need local access between servlets and EJBs). I have heard I can do that by recompiling JBoss with Tomcat 5.0.14, but I have no idea how to do that. If you have any ideas... Looking For Tomcat5 JK Doc
tomcat user, I've been looking for the document to configure AJP connecting Tomcat 5.0.7 with Apache 2.0.47. The on-line JK Documentation link keep referring me to the binary distribution page of mod_jk 1.2.5 without the configuration document. I've also read tons of helpful pages for the previous versions of Tomcat from the google search and still unable to get the AJP right. If someone has configured the Tomcat 5.0.7 + Apache 2.0.47 + mod_jk 1.2.5 successfully, please point me the direction for obtaining the right configuration documentation.
