I also keep reading that a computer hooked up to a decent USB DAC or USB converter/DAC bests the Touch hooked up to the same DAC by a decent margin so my next step will be to connect the V-Link to a PC. I didn't want to spend a fortune on an expensive USB converter just to satisfy my curiosity. I forget who, but someone on Computer Audiophile did a review of the V-Link 192 and rated its sound quality to be about 90% of the best out there. Not understanding what you are attempting. Are you trying to connect your LMS server to your Touch player by using the LMS web UI? If yes, try connecting from the Touch itself by selecting My Music. Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Cannot reach SBTouch through browser
One very important thing you haven't indicated is where you are running LMS. The web interface you are trying to use for LMS only works if you are running LMS on a computer, a NAS (network attached storage) or similar _external_ device. If you are using the Touch's built-in server (also known as TinyLMS, TinySBS, or TinySC) then you cannot control it via a web browser. You can, however, control it via infrared remote, touchscreen, mobile device plus relevant app (iPeng, Squeezepad, etc) or SqueezePlay running on another computer. aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97003 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
