Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] How do I download 3rd party plugins?
what happens if you try manually (noy using the controll panel ) with http://127.0.0.1:9000 in your browser ? Try another browser like firefox or chrome ? Is you lms perhaps using another port than 9000 ? it does automatically if that port is used by something else . try http://127.0.0.1:9001 or http://127.0.0.1:9002 ? The MDAC works fine with linux at 96kHZ. This is a bug with the Touch that Triode has talked about earlier in this thread. My question is really why can we not resolve the issue with the Touch and USB audio class 1 DACs by replacing the driver? ETA, the reason that I use USB is to get as close as possible to zero jitter. lordgibbness's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33390 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94512 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

Is it a problem with PCs running Linux? If it is then it points the problem at Audiolab - they simply haven't written the firmware for the MDAC to work with Linux. Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Announce: Enhanced Digital Output app - USB Dac and 192k Digital Ouput
Hi all I just have question regarding the EDO plugin on the Touch. I recently bought an Audiolab MDAC after auditioning against other DACs and now have this connected to my Touch asynchronously (thanks Triode!). I was wondering if anyone can shed any more light oin the limitation in the Touch that means we are limited to 44.1/48kHz if directly connected. Is this an actual hardware limitation (i.e. a bug in the USB chip on the DAC) - or is it a limitation in the version of the linux driver installed? If it is simply down to an older USB driver could we not replace this with a more recent one? thanks guys.
