I bought a new PC and I've decided to run LMS on it. I'm not looking forward to setting it up exactly like the LMS on my older PC. Is there a particular file that the settings are stored on? This way I can just copy the file to the LMS directory of my new PC. Check Settings/Information for the path to your preference files. Possibly the original adapter died and the adapter you tried killed the SBT. I think I've read over 20 posts on this forum where people plugged in an unsuitable adapter and killed their SBT's. Hopefully this isn't the case, but it looking like it. What are the exact specs of the this other adapter? Please don't double-post. Thanks. Last time my Touch did a software update, I noticed an orange logo labeled Spotify Core on my SB screen. Curious, I clicked on it. A You must have installed Triode's 3rd party Spotify plugin. When I tried USING some of the functions, my SB acted as though it would work, then an error message appeared referring to C:\\Spotify ? not being available or open. You rock, Ronnie! Poking around in those threads (I didn't find them in my searches...) I discovered that amixer works inside the touch. I was able to jack up the volume with: amixer -c 1 set PCM 5dB+ Took me a while to figure out the card number (it's 1) as the dragonfly is listed under aplay -l as card 3, but somehow it's routed through card 1. There is something going on in BBC. No problems with BBCiPlayer Plugin which uses official feed - I can play R1 & R2. My BBCiPlayerExtra plugin Schedules menu (which uses an older API feed) no longer work for R1, R2 and 6Music (i.e. same on-demand problem you have) but R4 on demand is OK is OK. There is a change in way provides info on programs ot be played.BBC not sure if it is a mistake or BBC are rolling out a change slowly kilsl the schedule URLs I have been using. Still no joy with R2 and 6Music here. I'm using the BBC Radio Applet. I usually use mysqueezebox.com, only use LMS to play content from PC. I can't get on-demand content from R1, R1X, R2, or 6Music. All give me the "reset by local host" error. Under "more info" they all show 96k WMA. I can get R3, R4 & R4X all of which show 128k AAC. (I tried the BBC Asian Service out of interest and I couldn't get that either.) The Applet is set to "highest bitrate" and if I change this to WMA or AAC/MP3 it makes no difference. Same with both Touch and SB Radio. I tried enabling the iPlayer app on LMS but this just replicated the problem so I disabled it. I can still get 48k WMA on-demand on my Reciva based radio.
