Rather than buying a Raspberry Pi or another laptop, I bought a refurb IBM desktop PC and am running Spotty/LMS on that (came with Windows 10). Issues resolved! If you are trying to play greater than 24/96 files you really should have both your server computer and your touch wired via Ethernet if you cant wire the touch consider using Ethernet over powerline setup. Well, after changing the ID3 to 2.3 it still rebuffers. Even tried to play the original FLAC fields over the touch, and they do the same thing. May contact ChannelClassics if I'm so motivated. This just seems like an odd issue, but again, the 24/96 files stream fine, and the files play perfectly on my desktop system, and they will play over ethernet. Yes that file now has ID3v2.3 tag instead of the 2.4 tag you previously reported. Itunes wont play flac files. There are other players that will run on a Mac that will, but if you prefer iTunes you cant use flac. But yes, for squeezeboxes and LMS I find that flac files are best for lossless files. Perhaps you can maintain two libraries, one flac for squeezeboxes and a second for iTunes. In my own case, I have flac files for my home system. Here is the window post conversion - how about that? :-) 26376 Yes, I convert all of my 192 files to AIFF because the Touch would not play them when they were ALAC, and I do have them on my iMac played through iTunes, so that is also a consideration. I know there are many other options available, but this is what I'm using at this point. I suppose I could keep a copy of the FLAC version in my iTunes library - the iMac wouldn't play it, but LMS would recognize it and stream it to the Touch? And you're saying the Touch will handle processing the FLAC file better than passing through the AIFF? Thank you very much for your help in all of this. New experience, and the Mp3tag UI is certainly not welcoming to the newbie. But it certainly works well! +---+ |Filename: Screen Shot 2018-12-26 at 11.45.43 AM.png| |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=26376| +---+ DBart's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63836 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109917 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
