Re: Cant access music library
You should have only music files and artwork on the drive. The drive should be self powered, not powered from the usb port. -- ghostrider ghostrider's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18959 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89851 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Piss poor customer service
Sounds like you just want to piss and moan and don't really want help, which is what this forum is for. You know how to get a refund, just contact the seller you bought it from. 7.6 has some problems but there are later, nightly releases that address the issues. If you would look around this forum, there are numerous posts that describe how to access the later releases. -- ghostrider ghostrider's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18959 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89534 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

The SB Touch should not be cabled directly to your computer. Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] I hate SB Touch
You've had a Touch for a year and you haven't figured not to update a working system until it's proven in production for some period of time? Turn off the option in SBS that automatically notifies you that an upgrade is available. Then you won't get the upgrade message! -- ghostrider ghostrider's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18959 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87457 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] this wks stupid question
If you plugged the drive into your PC, the Touch can no longer see it. A little more information please. Are you streaming local files or internet content, and what is the file format? You haven't given any info about your setup. Are you running SBS on a server or the Touch? Are you connected to mysb.com? There doesn't seem to be an issue in purchasing a preamp without balance control functionality, which is where it has always resided. And yet some feel slighted when this capability is not implemented in a source component. Someone mentioned that Sonos provided this feature, don't they also produce an amplified player where this would be required? -- ghostrider ghostrider's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18959 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=1 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
