I've got a problem with WOL too: When I put my touch (connected to SBS) into standby (playing stopped), the SBS goes to sleep after 5min, just as I configured it to do. Very soon after that, the SBS wakes up again, then goes asleep after another 5 minutes, wakes up again, and so on. This is annoying because the SBS is in my bedroom and forces me to pull the plug out of the touch. I'm running sbs (7.5) on an single core Atom Whs (1,6Ghz, 2GB RAM). And I also like the idea of using the touch's internal server. At it's current state, its performance and stability is miles away from the atom and that stopped me from following that idea very soon. I've had the same issue a couple of days ago - a restore of factory defaults solved the issue and - once again - kept me busy reconfiguring for a while. I solved the problem by loading factory defaults and entering 'North America' as region during initial setup. Yes it is, especially the sound quality. But the internal server sucks. [SlimDevices: Touch] No Access to My Apps with internal server
Hi, when my touch is connected to the internal server I get an error 'cannot connect to mysqueezebox.com invalid user or password' (or similar, my language is german) when I try to access 'My Apps' or the 'App Galery'. When I connect to my whs squeezebox server or directly to mysqueezebox.com after stopping the internal server I can access both without problem. I don't know where to enter my msb account data for the internal server. I was only asked once at initial setup and entered the data correctly as I can access mbs when the internal server is off. Hi everybody, I initially filled my 2.5" USB-drive by directly attaching it to my WHS homeserver and copying the music files with robocopy. Then I connected the drive to the touch and after configuring the share I now can access the share from my homeserver. So far so good. Now when I run my robocopy job again (this time with the share on the touch as a destination) robocopy tells me that the local files are newer and wants to update the files on the share which is, regarding the write performance of the touch, quite a mess. Am I doing something wrong or is there any issue/difference with the timestamps of the files when the drive is attached to whs (i've experienced something then similar in the past with a NAS that ran linux)?
