Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Touch hits Slickdeals - 225$ from Logitech if honored

Didn't work for me. The the coupon code was accepted but did not reduce
the price. The shipping one worked, though.

 Recieved my confirmation via email!

When I hit the Apply Code button the page refreshes but the price
stays the same. When/what was your first indication that the price was
$225?

Make sure to use the first code and it will give the 25%. Then enter
the shipping code. You will not see this discount untill you submit
the order. At least that's how it worked for me, but it did work.

So, are you saying actually submitting the final order (i.e. committing
it to your credit card) is required? How were you sure the code would
be accepted -- did you just go on faith?

Did you get the same behavior as me when you hit Apply Code? For me,
the $299 price stayed the same but the overnight shipping went to $0.

did you use the first code of logi_25off ?
It should have shown the discount. Then enter the logi_touch code for
 the shipping discount.
I saw everything before I submitted the order.
 Good Luck!

Must have stopped working. The logi_25off was accepted, but the
price was not lowered. I know it was accepted because I put in a bogus
code and it said Invalid promo code in bright red letters. As I
mentioned, the logi_touch code did work and reduced the shipping
price to $0. Bummer.

OK, had to settle for the consolation prize -- the same 25%-off code
worked for the Radio battery, which I needed. No free shipping,
though...

Touch, the new Firmware releases Beta users are receiving are better

The problem is not this normal characteristic of SW development. And,
as I mentioned in the general forum in another post, the guys doing the
Touch dev deserve big kudos. Rather, it is the wholesale gutting of the
Squeeze team with no announcement, in a more public place or in these
forums, of why. To me that can only mean one thing -- that Logitech
believes, in its current form, the Squeeze line does not represent a
solid revenue stream going forward. And that's what scares the
long-term Slim/Squeeze supporters.
