We have an audiophile subgroup for testimonials like this, but the best way to convince people is not to try to label any disagreement as "whining" but present actual, verified evidence. Bit late in replying. Whoever is whining about snake oil is ignorant. I have the D2 running on a full Naim system with Sonus Faber Cremona auditors for several years now. It sounds excellent. SBT EDO directly recognizes the D2. These products have a good following around the world and theyre inexpensive. Check Audiokarma and Supercharged forums. Nobody is talking about snake oil and the vast majority are quite happy. The D2 allows for mods and upgrades. I changed the OPA627 op amps for Sparkos SS3602. Tube rolling between Tesla, WE and GE NOS allow for further tweaking. Yes, it looks inexpensive but it sounds expensive...I cant complain about this DAC. It makes excellent music and have been reliable for 2 years now. My 2 cents. Re: [SlimDevices: Touch] Has anyone used Maverick Audio's TubeMagic with an SBT?
Just bear in mind that it only does 24/96 so it won't play high res stuff. I would serch for a better value product myself, one could always run the output through a valve buffer if one wants the "magic" :) Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110728 ___ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch

[SlimDevices: Touch] Has anyone used Maverick Audio's TubeMagic with an SBT?
Although I'm not a tweaker by nature, I've been thinking lately about things I can do to improve the sound of the SBT. I ran across this site: https://www.mav-audio.com/base/ Has anyone used this DAC with a Squeezebox?
