Hi, I also tried to activate the access from my computer to the USB device connected to the SB-Touch - but it does not work. The sharing is activated in the SB (sharing Settings/Advanced/USBSD Storage/Sharing) and I can see a very long name in the explorer under My Network path. But I can't access it (and can't see a folder etc.) - i get always an error message. And there is also no chance to enter the password. I use WIN XP SP3 and wired LAN. Squeezebox server and SSH connection to SB does work. Do I need any specific service etc. installed/loaded? You can remove the password in the sharing settings on the Touch. Try directly entering the name of your Touch (whatever you have set in Settings Squeezebox Name) in Windows Explorer. But your suggestions inspired me to trie it with the IP address instead. I've found the remote access flaky and unstable. I'm not surprised at the trouble people are having connecting. As a matter of fact when I look at the feature on the touch right now it's not seeing the SD card that it's currently playing from. I was getting that the last few days but I finally fixed it by unplugging my Touch and resetting my router. A reboot or starting up TinySBS started them up again. I'm not sure what caused them to go away.
